Caustic soda (sodium hydroxide), the other major building block of our electrolysis plant in Pont-de-Claix, is a base solution (50% concentration with available water) that is used throughout the manufacturing sector, but mainly in chemical intermediates, the food industry, pharmaceuticals, water treatment and pulp and paper throughout Europe.
