With more than 60 years of experience in the production of isocyanates, Vencorex celebrates its 10th year of existence. Initially formed as a joint venture between PTT GC, a major Thai petrochemical company, and the Swedish group Perstorp, June 2022 marked the date of becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of PTT GC.
Over these past 10 years, Vencorex has taken an accelerated path forward by means of an industrial transformation and strategic development, focusing on the production of aliphatic isocyanates.
In order to support the ever-increasing growth of the Polyurethane (PU) Coatings and Adhesives markets, Vencorex has made significant investments in its manufacturing sites, doubling production capacities in Pont De Claix (France) and Freeport, TX (USA), and in 2016 constructing a new plant in Rayong, Thailand to better serve the Asian market.
In our firm commitment to sustainable development, Vencorex has launched new products that reduce or even eliminate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) from our customers’ formulations: these products include the Easaqua™ range of products, dedicated to waterborne PU coatings and adhesives, and the Tolonate™ LV (“Low Viscosity”) grades facilitating the production of a solvent-free polyurethane.

C International (Netherlands) B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Thai company PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (“GC”).
On 30 June 2022, Perstorp Holding AB (“Perstorp”) decided to exercise its option to sell its remaining shares (9,18%) to GC.
Perstorp and GC have actively supported Vencorex in building a strong and sustainable company. Vencorex is grateful to Perstorp for its commitment to its business for almost 14 years.
The now sole shareholder, a powerful industrial player that has demonstrated its willingness to develop Vencorex
over the past 10 years, will be able to work even closer with Vencorex and strengthen its support.
